Why lolmantic?
A little history, a little context, and a good reason to keep making things.
A little lol. A little romantic.
The name lolmantic is a pun between “lol” and “romantic” — a small hope that life, work, and our relationships can hold both.
From timer to studio.
The domain was first purchased more than a decade ago as a simple relationship timer showing how many days had passed since 27 September 2003. That history remains in the header as a quiet nod to where it began.
What it is now.
Personal milestones are now tracked in Finite, the life-tracking app built by lolmantic. That freed the site to become the front door of the studio behind it — a place for Finite, ad hoc experiments, and projects made with collaborators. It is intentionally not branded as a personal page because the work here may belong to more than one person.
